Jerome Bright signs with NYCBL Utica Brewers

Cazenovia, NY - Sophomore Outfielder Jerome Bright signs with the NYCBL Utica Brewers. The San Francisco, California native is one 29 on the Brewers roster made up of players from 9 different states and two countries. The team is made up of players currently playing at the college level, representing NCAA division I, II, and III, NJCAA and NAIA colleges and universities. The Brewers play a 43 game regular season including an exhibition scheduled against the US Military All-Stars. Home games at Donovan Stadium in Utica, NY

The Utica Brewers finished their 2011 season with an overall record of 43-14 and have many of their key players back for the 2012 season. The Brewers ended their season on a high note after winning the NABF College World Series title behind a complete game, 10 strike out performance by LA Angels draft pick Mike Johnson, now a member of their minor league system.
