Coach Zirbel has coached the crew team since the Fall of 2009. A 1986 graduate of Cazenovia College, Coach Zirbel is heavily involved in the college community. In addition to his coaching responsibilities Zirbel has been an adjunct faculty member since 2007. He also serves as the faculty advisor for Campus Crusade for Christ - SGA Club and is the Chair for the Long-Range Planning Council.

Zirbel resides in Cazenovia, N.Y. with his wife and five children.
