Nittany Lions Too Much For Wildcats

READING, PA (January 22, 2012) - Dontez Reid matched a career-high in scoring with 24 points to lead the Penn State Berks men's basketball team to an 82-65 win over Cazenovia College on Sunday afternoon.

With the victory, the Nittany Lions improve to 3-11 overall and 3-5 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference, while the Wildcats drop to 4-12 overall and 1-6 in the conference. The Nittany Lion offense registered their highest point total of the season, while the defense surrendered the lowest of the season. All nine Nittany Lions finished with two points or more in the contest.

The Wildcats were led by Dieter Clauess' (Buffalo, NY) 12 points, followed by Darnell Sampson (Syracuse, NY) and Bryant Winans (Afton, NY) with 10 points each.

Cazenovia next travels to Keuka on Wednesday with a 6:00pm start.
