Cazenovia, NY - The Cazenovia College men's basketball team would defeat SUNY Cobleskill 76-65 in the season finale for both teams. The Wildcats (8-16, 5-10 NEAC) would impress the packed house with a strong performance on senior day.

Cobleskill finishes the season with a 2-23 record (2-13 NEAC).

While the crowd would honor seniors Brendan Hartnett (Whitesboro, NY), Ryan Hodownes (Honeoye Falls, NY), and Bryant Winans (Afton, NY) for their contributions to the program, it would be senior Darnell Sampson (Syracuse, NY) that would wow the crowd, and give Cobleskill fits, all afternoon long.

Sampson would score at will with strong drives to the hoop and mid range jumpers netting a game high 24 points, but the exclamation point would be when after a steal he would throw down a thunderous dunk late in the second half that would bring everyone in attendance to their feet.

Matt Perry (Massena, NY) would record yet another double-double on the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Winans would score 14 points.
