SUNY Cobleskill Softball Swept By Cazenovia In NEAC Play

COBLESKILL, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's softball team dropped a home North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Fighting Tiger Park to visiting Cazenovia College by scores of 10-2 and 7-2. With the losses Cobleskill falls to 11-11 overall with a 4-6 mark in conference play while the Wildcats improve to 4-16 overall with a 3-3 mark in league play.

Wildcat freshman hurler Jenna Kraegar, Constableville, N.Y., South Lewis High School, was dominant on the day going the distance in both games allowing only one unearned run in the opener while striking out four and walking no one then allowed only two unearned runs in the nightcap to secure the sweep.

Fighting Tiger junior utility player Ashlyn Siers, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, was 2-for-4 on the day for the Fighting Tigers in defeat.

Cazenovia will host Wells on Sunday with a 1:00 pm start.
